Use items we have on hand for a donation to help the Gazan Alnuweiri family cross into Egypt. This a fundraiser that is near and dear to our friend and new shop volunteer Fawzy.

Read Palestine! is a project born out of Madison Rafah Sister City Project. They began by providing book bundles to local Palestinian children's classrooms, and are now adding picture book read aloud for elementary kids and their families, as well as book clubs for middle and high school students.

What we're reading:

The Aida Camp Alphabet Book, bilingual Arabic alphabet book written and illustrated by children at the Aida Refugee Camp.

AND making group collage together. The activities during Read Palestine are geared toward kids 5-9years old but all are welcome!
