Rent Communication for your private event or gathering!

Host your event in an intimate, DIY setting—and support us at the same time!

We hope you’re considering Communication because you are already familiar with our mission and our house rules, but here are some pertinent details about the space:

  • Communication is an all-ages and sober space. If your private event is not all-ages friendly, please share more details as we may still be able to accommodate your request for a closed event.

  • Face masks are required inside our building at all times. We request that you bring your own (high quality, such as an N95 or KN95) masks if possible. If you don’t have some, we can provide them to you and your guests! We also have one HEPA air purifier for the gallery/event space.

  • Capacity inside our space is currently capped at 35 people.

  • We have a back door ramp as well as an indoor ramp that can be set up to accommodate wheelchair users or others who may need them.

RATES

  • Flat rate for private rental of our space is $60/hour (including any setup or teardown time)

  • If you are hosting a fundraiser or other type of community organizing event (such as distributing mutual aid) we may be able to offer something on a sliding scale!

AMENITIES - as requested!

  • A/V setup - projector, screen, speaker use can be discussed and arranged for your event as needed

  • Folding chairs

  • Private shopping time

  • Interested in paying a local artist to host a workshop or activity during your event? We can help with that :)
