Board of Directors President
The Board President serves as the strategic leader of Communication’s Board of Directors, guiding the organization toward its mission and ensuring effective governance. This role requires a deep commitment to the organization's values, a passion for its mission, and the ability to lead a diverse group of individuals toward common goals. The President oversees the board's activities, fosters collaboration among members, and represents the organization to stakeholders, donors, and the wider community.
In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined for their role, the Board of Directors is responsible for the overall governance of Communication. They are responsible for setting the organization's mission and vision, developing and approving the budget, and overseeing the work of the core collective. Board positions require an average time commitment of 10 - 15 hours per month.
