About the role:

• This role will likely require around 12-15 hours a month, depending on market and shop support schedule

• Support Shop inventory management, order fulfillment, and artist relations

• Work closely with the rest of the Shop team to plan inventory and setup/teardown support for all off-site market events, including attending these events as a representative of Communication when necessary

• Communicate with local market organizers, determine which are best fits for Communication, and liaise with organizers, Core Collective, and volunteer support as appropriate

• Determine short- and long-term goals for off-site market participation, artist representation, and revenue generation for the Shop at Communication

In addition to the expectations outlined for their area, all of our Core Collective members are expected to:

• Attend Core Collective meetings (typically once/month)

• Communicate with Core Collective and volunteers on Slack (phone/website app) and via Communication email address

• Coordinate within the group to facilitate use of our shared physical space

• Collaborate with the other Collective members to work toward Communication’s overall vision and long-term programming goals

• Share responsibility for the upkeep of our space, including attending periodic organizing days
